Who we are

ClearABN is operated by Duffy Investments Pty Ltd, ABN 83 697 458 852, ACN 697 458 852, 39 Lindquist Vista, Eglinton WA 6034, Australia. Contact: callum@galwayventures.com. This address is a placeholder until a clearabn.com.au mailbox exists.

Duffy Investments Pty Ltd is not registered for GST. GST is not applicable to ClearABN charges.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, practice name and a password hash or a sign-in link), the supplier files you upload, the column mapping you confirm, check results, and payment references from Stripe. We do not store card numbers. Supplier lists can include personal information, including the names of sole traders.

Why

We use that information to run the check, show you the result, produce the downloads, save lists you ask us to monitor, send sign-in emails and monitoring alerts, and take payment. We send ABNs to the Australian Business Register to retrieve public register extracts. Those responses may be cached for about 24 hours.

Storage and deletion

Supplier row contents are encrypted at rest. Anonymous checks are deleted after 7 days. Account data stays until you delete the account from the account page, which removes the user, saved lists, checks and sign-in links. Stripe may keep its own payment records. Email logs of messages we send are kept for about 90 days.

Hosting

The operator will record the hosting location here before launch. Until then, treat the service as running on infrastructure chosen by Duffy Investments Pty Ltd. We do not sell personal information.

ClearABN shows Australian Business Register facts and the result of an ABN checksum. It does not provide tax, legal or financial advice.
